David, I don't think foreign companies are evil, but when our "representatives" claim we have to do everything to stop terrorists, I don't expect them to outsource checking for terrorists.

It has been happening for years, Even illegal aliens at one point.
But , pay scales and ?? It is horrible. Ex Flight Attendant here and 9/11 was no surprise at all. Unbelievable, yes.
** Today 10 workers at JFK were arrested for drug trafficking. All probably cleared at some time and by whom? NO we need to completely revise the statutes here around airports and cruise lines as well. Way too much "out sourcing" or foreign influence is being allowed at whose expense? Again? (ABC News)
