Before you do anything, ask your employer to be paid in cash. This is perfectly legal and is still done in a lot of places. They will give you a list of deductions which you should already have unless you were paid the gross amount because you are an independent contractor. Are you that or are you an employee who had deductions? Either way, you want the gross(if independent) or net(if an employee) amount of pay in CASH. If that's refused, then you'll have to take legal action. But try it that way, it would be less of a headache for you if you can get the cash. They look for another job. I've seen this stuff before especially when Real Estate agents get paid a gross amount as independent contractors. No payroll check should ever be bounced but today everything goes I guess. Good luck.

Your employers have to pay you...tell them that they have 24 hours to pay you or you will go to the Labor Board. Employers dont like the labor board so they will pay you...and from now on I would cash my check with the bank that your employer banks with due to the fact that you have now had problems with them bouncing it....also your employer is responsible in paying the state and federal taxes along with workers comp...if they dont pay you your pay check on time they become late in all those taxes...your employer needs to get a loan out or something so this way they all can make sure that everything gets paid in a timely manner and this will protect your employer as well as yourself...if you dont get paid by tomorrow your paycheck go to the labor board...they can get you your money and compensation for being put out!

Tell them you want to be paid in cash, and that you are contacting the Better Business Bureau to report them. Also you should contt the department of Labor and report this as well. I hope this did not cause you to have checks from your own personal account to bounce. Either way these 2 departments are the ones to help you. Good luck, best wishes.

I would contact the better business bureau. Also maybe call you local police department and see if there is any kind of complaint you can file with them. Also some banks give you the option of collecting the funds for you for a small fee. So talk to both your bank and theirs(preferably theirs).
Good Luck!!

Tell your employer to give you cash within 2 days or you will have to go to state or local authorities.
Bouncing checks is a criminal offense.

make sure and keep track of any insufficient funds fees on your own account, so your boss can reimburse you. if you're bouncing checks written on your payday when you expected this money, it's your employer's fault. this happened to me once and I didn't go back to work until I was paid in cash. then I quit.

Call a lawyer and start looking for a new job.
Sorry. But on the good side, your lawyer should be able to get you all of your money plus extras if you are not made whole VERY soon.

I would give them 48 hours to remedy the situation by bringing you cash to replace the paycheck. If they fail to do so, turn the check over to police.
I would quit on the spot.

You could either call them up and let them know what's going on, or get a lawyer ASAP. I'd -definitely- look into getting another job as soon as possible. If they're that low on funds, I think you're in trouble.
