The argument has always been "Peyton has better stats, Brady has the rings" Well Peyton got his ring. In the past Brady won and had very good stats with mediocre recievers (how have his former top recievers Reche Caldwell, Dieon Branch, David Givens, and David Patten done since leaving the Pats?). Now that Brady has recievers as good as Manning's, he is tearing defenses apart.
Tom Brady all the way.

To the guy who said Caldwell is still on the Pats, Caldwell was released in the preseason.

Even Rex Grossman could have stats like Peyton Manning with the receiving core he has.
Tom Brady's team has rings, and that's cause HE carried them to the superbowl, not the other way around.
Not to mention Brady spends his time dating supermodels, Manning probably spends his spare time playing as himself on Madden.

Ok Both QB's are looking good this year but I mostly have Stats on Brady and the Pats well lets see just like here Hobbs has broken the Kick Return Record with 108 Yds, Receivers are doing good Randy Moss with 610 yds and 8 TDs, Welker with 386 yds and 3 TDs , and Watson with 222 yds with 5 TDs theres, Brady is just becoming more amazing lets see 76 wins out of 100 starts, first QB to throw 3 TD passes his first 6 games and had a career best on sunday with 5 TD passes that game. This isn't a part of the question but the Colts are probablly the only ones who stand a remote chance of beating the Pats this season I for one think The Pats will win the Game but if the Colts come to play unlike the Cowboys did then it could very well be a 15-1 season for he Pats

The number one reason why I like Brady is because he's gotten the job done with a relatively worse receiving group then what Indianapolis has put together.
But this year I think both Pittsburgh and Indy are now both comparatively lesser then New England. That's probably the number one reason why if the teams face off the Patriots are favored against either one.
The number one reason I don't like Peyton is the way he cried about how the Patriot defensive backs would shove Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne out of bounds, <5 yards from scrimmage, when they'd line up wide. Even Pittsburgh fans appreciated that.
When the Patriots lose, its "we'll be back next year". When Indy loses, they whine and complain and want the NFL to change the rules so their offensive scheme is favored, and there's less contact.
The same problem has been happening in the NHL for at least the past 15 years.
The other difference will be Brady will probably beat Peyton's TD season stat and get a fourth or fifth Superbowl.
Peyton will end up in the Hostetler, Rypien, Dilfer group of Superbowl winners.

I am no fan of the Pats or Mr. Brady. But Tom Brady is a stone-cold assassin on the football field. He may be the most focused and determined quarterback I have ever seen. He is scaring the heck out of the competition right now. I would put him a notch above Peyton at this point in time, because I think Brady outdoes Peyton in leadership. Yes, he's got some darn good receivers this year, but I think the biggest difference is that OL pass protection. Every game, I see Brady sitting in the pocket and playing catch with his receivers all day. No one's gonna beat that if it keeps up.

Yes I know it may seem like I am being bias but I must say I alsways have had a problem with Manning and his ***** little happy feet. I like the guy as a player and he is a real threat out on the field, but Brady has it all, coolness in the pocket, awareness, leadership, toughness, plus he can throw the ball. I remember a couple of yrs back the thing was if Tom could throw the long ball! Look at him now, and even 2 yrs ago twice to Troy Brown a couple to Givens, Patten, and who remembers the play for like 80 yrds that he aired out to a fully stretched out diving Bethel Johnson?! Yeah.....Brady all the way dude

I agree. Manning has a quicker release than Brady and is great play action passer.
But Manning has the great and underated Marvin Harrison to throw to for his entire career. And the Colt offensive line led by Center Jeff Saturday are excellent.
Brady has done more with less and has three rings to show for it. And now that he has 3 1st rate Wideouts to throw to, Brady's numbers are catching up quickly to Manning and with the Patriots team accomplishments as well.

You cannot really answer this question fully right now. We need to see how this season and the rest of their careers play out. But right now, as of today with both of them leading their team to an undefeated season so far I would give the advantage to Tom Brady. He looks to be on pace to shatter Manning's record for single season TD passes. So right now in my opinion Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning. They meet in week 9 so we will see.

OK...You're right...Caldwell is no longer on the Pats...
I've always said and truly thought that yes, Manning puts up crazy numbers, but with the Pro Bowl receivers he has, it is not that hard...
Tom Brady won 3 rings with only ONE top notch receiver (Troy Brown)...OK maybe 2(Deion Branch)...but the rest were average...
Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning
