I woke up yesterday and I felt like a completely different person, and I was! Okay, before, I was shy, quiet, lazy, depressed, sad, doubtful, and I was scared of everyone. I woke up, and I felt completely different. I was happy, not lazy at all, motivated for no reason, and I got along fine with everybody! I have barely no friends, go through emotional abuse all the time, I have physco parents, and i'm as happy as hell! I have no idea why or anything! I have energy, I like different types of music, I'm social, I'm not scared of people, and I'm jsut soooo different! This is great!!!! It just kinda bothers me, why did I change overnight? Does anyone know what could have caused it? Not that I really want to know super bad because I'm happy, I'm just wondering. Thanks!!

Good on ya! Happened to me a few years back......I'm still quite happy and glad I got over all the "trauma" from childhood.

You can either look for good things in life so you can take steps towards them or you can look for bad things so you can run away from them. Both methods attempt to achieve the same thing. It's just that one path is filled with good and happiness while the other is filled with bad things and fear.

It sounds like you went from running away from bad, to taking steps toward good things. It's a wonderful change to make and makes life way more enjoyable.

I'm surprised you made the change overnight without even consciously thinking about it. But, there's no reason to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Might also take note of what you've been eating for the last couple days. A well balanced diet does wonders for the mind.

Hopefully you are just coming out of depression and you are finally to a normal state of mental functioning... but the speed of the change makes me wonder a little. Haven't taken any drugs have you? I mean no offense but sometimes they can cause a swift switch like that..... and that's not a good thing. Also... write this in a journal and keep track of your moods... if you see a pattern of up/down/normal (in any order) with rapid changes from you might consider being tested for bi-polar.

Your probably just coming out of depression... but better safe than sorry right?

You have accepted yourself. Sub-consciously you have overcome what you did not realise to be depression I believe.

You are a new person and one that you like. congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new found happiness. Don't let it bug you that you've changed, Be happy that you are what you want to be!
