My last washer never worked in my unit I am moving from. They fixed it once almost a year later it worked for 1 month and broke again. Still left unfixed. So im kind of use to the laundry in huge mounds. Should I get the washer and dryer in the next place that I move into? The price difference is 140.00 more a month for the washer and dryer. I have two small kids under the age of 3.

To me it's not worth that much more. I would go to the laundry mat. I'm sure $140 extra bucks a month would come in handy with 2 small kids. Good luck! :)

Like you, I got used to the laundry mat. I have 3 small kids as well. Now that I have a washer and dryer at home, I wouldn't change it for anything. If you can afford the extra 140 a month I would do it. Having the washer and dryer at homes gives you the flexibility to do laundry anytime of the day or nite. This really comes in handy when you have a sick child, or if the weather is nasty.

$140.00 per month ... Holly S*#t Batman ... that is stupid.

Actually they should give you a discount since you are able to provide your own appliances. Tell them that you want them to forgo the increase since you will be solely responsible for the repairs of your own appliance (washer and dryer).

You will need these two items with the little ones in your home but don't let them drag you down the road with this ridiculous monthly increase.

Is the apartment not set up to take a washer and dryer? Find out why there is such a high surcharge. Is there a increase if your refrigerator has an automatic Ice Maker?

try looking in the paper for used washer and dryers there are people out there who have money (unlike us moms with small kids)who go and buy new washer and dryers all the time and then sell their old ones for 200 and up for the set to own, if you rent a set you will have spent 1,680 in a year for the rental that is more then enough for the super cool new ones. I have never been able to purchase new washer and dryer but i have successfully gotten 3 used sets and they have worked great. good luck

$140 seems a little steep but in the long run may save you from all the trips to a laundramat with two little ones in tow. Are you supplying your own or are these their units? If they are theirs, be sure to check them out thoroughly, find out how old they are and what is your recourse should they malfunction. You surely don't want to tack on an extra $140 for something you cannot use.

the position might want to you position it? there is more suitable to it than in basic terms putting some holes contained in the wall and operating some hoses! If there is no longer an section for a w/d then there's a reason. You do comprehend electric powered dryers take 220 skill? What in case your circuit breaker (once you've one) container is in basic terms one hundred ten? in case you opt for gas, that must be put in too. If I were the owner, i might want to likely say no. and that i imagine it would want to value so a lot more suitable than you're questioning to get plumbing AND electric powered it really is as a lot as code to placed this in.

It would be worth it for me. Just the thought of possibly dragging 2 small kids and laundry up and down flights of stairs makes me tired.
