Of course, even though it violated her contract, it's the main objective of an ADOPTION agency to find GOOD homes for animals - which it had.

Why can't these people evaluate the home and family to see if they're fit to have the dog then go from there?

Yes! Or Ellen can ask for her $3000.00 back. Maybe they need doggie social workers now because of a bunch of idiots who are obviously "control freaks". I think they should give Ellen ALL OF HER MONEY BACK if they keep the dog. Let's see how that flies..............Like a lead balloon.

i think ellen is doing the right thing about that dog it WAS a mistake and unfortunately mistakes do count particularily with contracts but what kind of company controls what you do with your pet after you've gotten it??? what she did was in the best interests of that dog AND her cats. Plus two little girls are missing their dog!
