I tried to go to work today I woke up with a worrible soar throat I went to work and tried to tuff it out then I got a fever I sweat through my tee under my shirt. I just restarted this job at a place I used to work I am worried they think I am lying and I have become less responsible because I left after being there 20 minutes or so and my boss said something under his breath when I left I really am sick and now I'm stressed too. What can I do to show him I am actually sick and I am not just being a slacker. Other than going to the doctor I don't have insurance.

Don't make it worse by bringing it up. Just drop it and be a productive worker when you get back.

Also, instead of feeling guilty.. think of all the productivity you have saved them by NOT making others sick.
