Yes I do. It's the sum of all wavelengths of light--so like
other perceptible shades the human eye can see, it's made of wavelengths of light. Black is not the same thing as 'darkness"--the absence of all wavelengths of light.
But the second reason I treat it as a color is because it has shades also--cream white, off white, Navajo white, snow or Alpine white.

No, black and white are considered values. They have no place on the color wheel. You are right, it is just a matter of light reflection.

Everyone refers to it as a color but it is not a hue, it's considered a reflection in actuality. But who cares really, I still call it a color.

Yup....just like black....me and my younger sis had a discussion about black not being an actual colour and white also. But we decided they are both a part of the colour wheel and are infact colours.

A lot of people consider it as a color, but it mostly has been deemed a shade, as was black and i think grey.

yes, because white is the combination of all colors, and black is the oppoiste (the abesnce of color)
-Kinda weird that you point out the racist thing because since black is the absence of color and white is the combination of all colors- why did they always say colored?

Yes. I just painted my living room white so it wouldn't be clear. Now, clear isn't a color. LOL!

I don't consider white or black colors.

Because white is all colors together, and black is the absence of color.
