you should leave it plugged in most of the time then run it all the way out on battery about once a month .. imo its better to let it rest for awhile after u run it out also and not charge it while its "hot" ..

Let it charge all the way up then take it off, then put if back on when it is almost dead. That's the best way to save your battery life.

Please discharge the battery to 2% then completely can charge on the 1st time it rather is forbidden to discharge to 0%(it is going to likely be surely broken and shorten the utilization life) on ordinary workings; It must be grew to become off or recharged(a million-2 days) if as low as 2% It must be charged above 70% earlier long term storage(extra suitable than 3 months) Battery desires recycling regularly. it rather is cautioned to discharge and can charge it as quickly as consistent with 2 months a minimum of. The battery will gain ideal overall performance. Please discharging it to 2%, and then charging it finished. while the battery can no longer can charge or can charge much less ability, consistent with probability the computing device adapter is musmatch or output ability is decrease. Please right now replace the journey and the function ordinary adapter to determine is brought about by ability of the adapter. despite the fact that if the priority in no way take out the battery style the computing device while charging or discharging. ..

Today's lithium batteries don't suffer from "charge memory", like old batteries. There's no need to run them all the way down before re-charging. You can keep it plugged in while you're working without any trouble. They will still degrade over time, no matter what you do.

Keep the laptop plugged in while using it. That will use the A/C power instead of battery power. Then once a week, let the battery drain completely. Keep the laptop shut off while recharging so it will recharge faster.
Since those batteries have "memory", completely draining and recharging will help keep the battery functioning at its full potential.

Lithium Ion batteries do not have a "memory" like the old Nickle-Cadmium batteries did. It's okay to leave your laptop connected to the AC at all times. I have 3 and all are so connected. Your batteries can be "reconditioned" by software on your system that runs them into deep discharge and recharges them. I do this every quarter (3 months).

Turn it off ?
If fully charged, take batterty out while on mains, and periodically run it flat, then fully recharge it.
also when using on battery power, ensure you have it se to power off drives etc when idle in power savings settings
