back to when you were three? My earliest memory is painting my mom's couch with her red nail polish. What? She was taking a nap, what else was I supposed to do? Play with matches?

I'm 49 years (young ha ha) and my first memory I have is when I was three. I think that's a common age for many to remember for some reason.
And you're okay -- if the nail polish was sitting there in the first place, it wouldn't be your fault now would it? HA HA.

I'm in a crib in a dimly lit room and there's a woman (a blurry figure) sitting near a window. I'm wearing white tights and I'm holding my feet up to my face and my gaze keeps shifting from the window to my feet.
I think the woman was my mother and that was the only memory I had of her.
I was taken from her at 11 months old so if it was her then I would have been less than 1yr old
Of course I may have been older and the woman could have been someone entirely different but I like to think it was her

Nope, not that far back. My earliest memory is when I was turning 5 and the birthday party my Mom had for me with my friends and it was suppose to be an outdoor party but it started raining so we all had to come inside. It was fun anyway!

I remember getting up very early, while my parents were sleeping. They had had a party the night before and were apparently too tired to clean up. I climbed out of my crib and went downstairs and drained all the glasses and bit off the ends of the matches in the ash trays. The year was probably 1947 and I was 2 1/2.

My earliest memory was looking through my playpen at the yellow kitchen wall and out the window. I recall the curtains blowing in the breeze.. I told my mom later and she was surprised at the detail of the memory, since we moved from that house when I was not yet 2.

The earliest memory I have was when I was about 3 or 4... Accidentally letting out my hamster and my mom waking up with it crawling up her pant leg....
I had to go without small pets for a LONG time!

haha
yeah, when I was 3 I was hanging from a trapeeze on the swingset by my knees and I fell and landed right on my head and hurt my neck ... traumatic experience for a 3 year old. lol
I still remember the popsicle my mom gave me to stop crying - it was grape.

actually I remember back a little further than that, when I was almost 2 I fell in a swimming pool and almost drowned ... I don't remember falling in, but I remember looking up and seeing the light through the water.
and I remember my dad pulling me out (he was supposed to be watching me, I imagine he got in trouble though I don't remember that ... lol) and for some reason my mom gave me tylenol.
it was grape too, actually ..

Yes, I remember cooking an egg while my mother was hanging laundry out to dry. She did not know I was cooking. It started to smoke so I hid in the basement she saw smoke and came running in and could not find me. I almost caught the house on fire. My uncle was a fireman she made him come and talk to me. I still love to cook, but I cried because my uncle was mad at me. So no don't play with matches, painting the couch sounds like fun!

My earliest memory is ballet class- of being on the cold, white floor, doing stretches. I had my hair in a bun and I remember thinking that I couldn't rest my hair on the floor because my bun was in the way. I must have been three then, haha. :]
