Friday and Saturday nights in Vegas are THE most expensive nights to stay there. If you are driving and have a way to get around why try to stay on the strip when you can get a room within your budget a few blocks away. If/when you want to go to a strip hotel to gamble, go to a show, or something, just drive there and park for free, or use the free valet parking.
Check the web sites below and find a close by the strip room

You might get lucky with a last-minute deal, but for a Saturday night on the Strip, under $200 is hard to find, and under $100 will be impossible.
You can try the Hampton Inn off Tropicana - it's about 1/2 mile or so off Strip - you might get $100 or less there.

The most expensive night of the week to stay. I checked www.sidestep.com and they always find the best deals. Check it out yourself. Nothing under 100 bucks on the strip. Good luck.

The Saraha usually has the cheapest room rates of hotels directly on the Strip. However, most of the rooms are old and not as nice as the others. There are alot of web sites that you can explore to check hotel rates there.
