Hi;
Don't get worried but it could be a sign to a serious problem. Go see your doctor immediately. The reason of your problem could be edema. And edema happens because of low blood protein or some kind of heart failure. But as I say do NOT get worried about it. It is only a small possibility. It could just be because of sleeping your arm under your body.
Get well soon.

Sounds Like The Extra Preassure Of Being Pregnant (Extra Weight & Strain) May Be Affecting Your Spine...Like A Pinched Nerve (Past Injury That Didn't Bother You Till Now)...Also, It Could Be A Sign Of Restricted Blood Flow...It Could Be Both...You May Need Some Blood Work Done To Check For Diabetes (Common)...It Could Be A Specific Vitamin Or Mineral Deficiency (Likely)...Antioxidants Can Be Very Helpful W/ Blood Flow (Bright Fruits & Veggies)

that use to happen to me. It was quite severe, i would wake up in the middle of the night in pain because my arms and hands were soo numb. I had to bang them on the side of the bed just to wake them up and sometimes it would take 20 minutes. I ended up having carpal tunnel surgery. I've been a dental assistant for 12yrs, so that's why i had it. Go to the doctor and have them do a nerve conduction test. Good luck!

Do you mean you wake up with them like that? If so, there's probably a good chance that you cut off your circulation while you were sleeping. You probably slept on your arm or your hand. That's happened to me before.

My guess is that you sleep with your hands under your pillow so you're cutting off their circulation thus making them tingly. It happens to me all the time.It's no big deal really.

You're probably laying on them and cutting off circulation. I sleep with my arm up under the pillow and I wake up to pins and needles almost daily.

It sounds like you might be curling your hands while you sleep and the nerves don't like that. This was one of my symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Please have it checked by a neurologist as soon as you can. I put it off too long and I now suffer from loss of sensation in most of my fingertips.

That can happen when you have a carpel tunnel problem. You should ask your doctor. Also may be caused by a pinched nerve from a bone spur.

Do you sleep with your arms bent? You may just be cutting of the circulation.
