a naptkin on fire just went on a carpet thing in front of my sink and now there is a black spot on there from like the carpet hairs burning how can i get the black out?

Cut the fibers down and then scrub with baking soda mixed with warm water

Chlorinated Break Cleaner will "absorb" the charcoal from the carpet.

Just make sure it's NOT hot. Spray about half a can of it onto the stain and let it sit for about 1min then quickly use a dry towel to absorb the stain.

Next use plain old soap & water to scrub the debris up.

The carpet will be brand new again.

depending on how bad the burn is i agree with William b however if you burnt the carpet fibers all the way down to the pad and you are a renter you will probably be stuck with carpet replacement.

Try some WD-40 spray or snip the ends of the carpet...

brush it with a fine wire brush, what happened is the carpet melted, use sisors to trim off the burnt area

You have to cut the fibers with scissors. Its the only way.
