around 1950's a large solid mass falls to earth just two meters to the left of the middle of nowhere. government goons move in, cordon off the area and construct an airforce hangar...yes, i will admit that such a turn of events could not be so coincidental. i love a conspiracy theory as much as the next man. conspiracy theories are bedtime stories for adults. but as nobody has been able to reveal "the truth" concerning government labeled "area 51" since 1950 im just going to have to leave it under unsolved for now.

your second question regarding the concept that the internet was reverse engineered from alien technology, while it seems somewhat absurd, does bare some interesting food for thought. after all: it was initially created for military purposes and, last time i asked the almighty television, the airforce and the military are one and the same (to a degree...wings that is).
but then you have to question alot of other spectacular technological advancements. whatabout foxtel? could be alien. the vacumn cleaner, could be alien. history teachers...robots (devoid of emotion and lack of style).
but the moment you start to question all of this you begin to wonder just how powerful the gov can posibly be and WHAM! phsycosis, skitsofrenia! you begin to check your house for transmitters! are your phones tapped? could they be watching you?

i prefer the dismissive outlook on all this stuff. yeah: there are probably some greens and greys in a lab in new mexico and yeah...maybe...probably not but maybe the government is watching me type all this but so what? technically that makes politicians peeping toms...very determined peeping toms.

and saying all, most or even just a couple of technologies are based on an aliens minnivan is putting little faith in humanities development.

this is all just my opinion mate. truly such descisions are left to those who ask them.

That is very interesting. I live in the "new Area 51" (not in Nevada). I do not see that there is any chance that Area 51 as those who believe in aliens believe exists. We do not have a huge airfield here, nor do we have a large off limits area surrounding the "new Area 51", so I suspect it is all hogwash, but I'm open minded. If I ever saw one in person (not edited video) then that would likely change my mind.

well ill be the first to admit that aliens are out there, not on earth or anywhere near it but they are somewhere in the universe.

but its to far to reach earth, it would take thousands of years for the most advanced civilizations, if they were 75 times as advanced as us it would still take them 1000 years to travel tho earth from the closest star (which doesn't even have planets by the way).

id say area 51 is just a big hoax, the theories anyways. area 51 is just a weapons research center.

No such thing as aliens. Area 51 was used for the US technology. The stealth bomber (which some people thought was a space ship) was tested there.

I think that aliens exist because you have to be closed minded to think that we are the only beings alive in the universe.

Now on the other hand. I dont think that Aliens have ever came to earth. If you think about it the odds are very low that a alien being from another planet that has the means of interstellar travel would chose earth of all places in the universe to come to and visit here.

On another note, if a alien would or has come here I doubt that they would have only contacted the American Government and other countries would not know a thing. Or The government be able to cover it up without us knowing about it.

Between you and me I think that one of Nasa's thousands of sattelites would have taken pictures of UFOs in space by now.

I grew up in Nevada and some friends and I took a trip to Area 51!

And I can tell you from experience what they are doing their!

I seen two different Crafts, although at the time I thought they were from out - of - this world. Years latter I now know what it was I saw:

as far as aliens not existing tho? thats a pretty radical claim to be making seeing as how we wouldnt be able to detect it if it was in our own 'galactic backyard'. the galaxy could Very Easily harbor 10,000 or more intelligent societies who all have no idea about each other.
