My immediate thoughts would be to hold them and let them know i accept and them whatever they were, i would want to also protect them cos of the stigma that is STILL out there

I raised two sons (both adults with their own children now) and if either of them had told me they were gay I would have accepted it with no problem. Thing is, when you are a parent -- unconditional love comes easy (at least it did for me and it did for my parents).........

It really wouldn't worry me it would still be my child and i love my children unconditionally
I would rather that than my child turn out to be a rapist or a murderer

I would have to take some time to collect my thoughts I might not agree with it but I don't have a problem with other peoples beliefs so why judge my children.

I would want my child to be happy, whether they were gay, straight or bisexual i would love them and want them to be happy. They would still be my child no matter what.

wouldn't be happy but love for my child would conquer the disappointment. as a real loving daddy couldn't do less than love my child in emulation of THE CREATOR OF US ALL who loves all of us no matter what.
