In other words, how do you answer a question like this without sounding, well, bad?

"That's a challenge I would welcome, [insert name of your interviewer here]. In fact, although I have not yet had the opportunity to [insert skill you don't have yet here], I feel my skills in [insert related skill here] will enable me to quickly master [insert skill you don't have yet here] l. I am the type of employee who welcomes a challenge, and am always eager to learn and apply new skills to my job."

The last thing you want to do is answer in such a way that leads on that you know exactly what they are talking about or how to do it...that could get you in hot water!

So just respond by saying, "Even though I have not had extensive experience doing (whatever the job is) I know that with the skills that I have and my ability and drive to learn with some coaching I know that I can learn this skill and will be able to accurately execute the skill at hand."

Of course put this in your own words so it doesn't sound like a recited line. :)

if ur not experienced in certain field it's best to say so & state that u are more than willing to learn. that will definately be taken into consideration. u'know rather than pretending

you just speak with confidence.. as long as you can look confident and not try to over-talk the issue you should be fine.
