Try Monster.com or Craigslist (for your local area).

A college degree will help and is necessary for you to reach the highest level of JOURNEYMAN.

Go for it. Electricians are sorely needed and it will help you for the rest of your life, to be able to fix things when they need fixing.

Also, think about it. If everything is taken over by robots (assembly lines etc.) there will still be a need for Electricians to install and maintain the electrical components needed to run the factory! Job Security Baby!

My bf is an electrician, he simply looks up electrical companies, many of which have web-based interest forms to fill out with your resumé info. They then contact him...what state are you in? In Cali electricians have to be state certified (pass a state test) that makes you very attractive to companies. From what we heard all states are moving towards that certification...look in your state unemployment website too...there are usually jobs there too.
