I thouroughly agree.... I'm so sick of excuses.... the Cowboys played well, the Patriots played better.... now it's time to move on and stop whining and fussing that "it's not fair"...
The reason their (the opposing team) lost, is that they didn't play as well as the other team... simple as that.... it had nothing to do with unfairness, karma, the weather or any other number of imaginary things... no one wants to believe that "their" team is anything less than perfect... and it has to be someone elses fault, when their team loses.... boo hooo.....
It was a great game, I enjoyed every minuted of it, it was awesome to see the Patriots play against such a tough team.... too bad the fans aren't as classy as the players... and take thier losses with grace and dignity...

People jump on bandwagons. That's life. But you know you are a true fan when you suffered through the 2-14 season with the Cowboys. But the Patriots are tough. They might be able to compete in the 80s and 90s.

In this sort of scenario, the NFL stands for "Not For Long" because if you keep looking back at what happened and not what is ahead of you in a season, you'll get eaten up in this league. A prime example is Tony Romo, against the Bills, had 6 (SIX!!) turnovers all by himself, yet he still led the team to the win in the last seconds by not worrying about what did happen and doing his best to control what he can make happen. The Saints are the opposite, wondering what happened in weeks 1-4 and why they were 0-4...but this week they finally seemed to take a step forward against Seattle.
In conclusion, in the NFL, you will not succeed if you are worrying about what happened last week...this is what makes the Pats (and Bellicheck) so great...even during the "Spy-Gate" scandal, they didn't look back and they take care of business week in and week out...and that has turned into year in and year out now.

I agree. Poeple just whine cuz they have nothing better to do. As far as a loss goes, yes, it friggin blows to see a team you love take a loss, but look at who they lost against? And as a Pats fan I could gripe about some bad calls in the AFC championship game last year but screw it, we blew a 18 point lead man. My team messed up. It happens man. Be a real fan or dont be a fan at all. bye the way ck, I loved the Pats when they were being tortured for yrs, I love the Babe Pirelli, Grogan, and Bledsoe too. snob!

The Cowboys aren't the only team with bandwagon fans. You started hearing from Pats fans after their first super bowl win. Nobody liked the pats before that. Now all of a sudden, Tom Brady is god. Give me a break.

As a true Cowboys fan for life I couldn't agree more. No excuses they got beat by a better team...now lets focus on next week. Speaking for myself I'm already over it.
Go Cowboys

cowboys fan here. i figured the pats would win. i think they are one of the best teams out there, arguably the very best. big whoop-tee-doo. that was as meaningless a loss as a team can have. non division, non conference loss. congrats pats! way to go! just so long as the giants, eagles, or skins dont do the same, it's all good here.

Why not, didnt you hear T.O. and others whining about the loss.
If the players can't take it like a man why should the fans.
And if they lose homefield advantage throughout the playoffs by one game I do not think you will be saying it was one of those meaningless losses.

The cowboys lost because the Patriots were better than them. Period. Move on. Who the hell would think Dallas could beat new England.
Oh wow the best record in the NFC wow...
look who the cowboys beat.
The cowboys are decent but the AFC is clearly the dominant division.
