According to what I just read on Yahoo News, according to some in Congress if you're a black convicted felon on probation, and you and a couple of your black buddies beat a white guy for supposedly putting a noose in a tree, you should not have your probation violated and sent back to jail.

If I am a convicted white patriotic felon on probation and I beat up somebody for burning the American flag, will Congress also back me and say I should not be sent back to jail for violating my probation?

I wish I could insert the article, but I'm not computer savvy enough (I'm one of those dumb, hick, Southern, red-staters the libs keep talking about). Anyway if you go to Yahoo News right now, it's out there.

The answer to the first part of your question is no unless you are bleeding-heart liberal then it's OK. To the second part if You beat-up up some communist or illegal protester for burning our flag that men and women have died for you will go to jail and most likely be sued by the ACLU!
Go for it! I'll go your bail with pleasure.

First, only a noose was hung, not a cross which symbolizes the KKK, nor was anyone hung in the noose. This is not cause for a fight.
Second, unfortunately, burning the flag is not an offense according to the government, and is also not grounds to fight.

No one would have hung nooses from a tree at my High School, because Blacks and Whites got along very well. We had mutual respect for one another. But if whites had hung a noose from trees, they would have received a beat down from blacks and other whites, who were not down with that racist act.

Regardless of who you are beating somebody up is a violation of any probation and yes you should go back to jail.

I'd have to read that Yahoo News article. Both hypotheticals sound ridiculous to me.

I personally dont think that anyone has a right to beat up anyone else. It would be much better if we all just played nice together on the playground and quit trying to be bullies.
