I will agree with some to say that (In Public) Rhodes has not said it was an attack. It was her cohost and some idiot bloggers. to think of the fun we would have had with the inevitable “Countdown” segment tonight blaming the mugging that wasn’t on Michelle, if only the Daily News had held back its report another eight hours or so.
but this story ofcourse like everything else the left latches onto is just ANOTHER reason for them to splash their vitriol and idiot rants. Another excuse to attack people (like the pie answer below) because after all they are the people for "free speech" right.

I really fear what is going to happen to our country when the Republicans are finally put in their place. I fear we are going to see a lot of violent incidents because these people are going to be looking for a way to vent their frustrations and with encouragement by the likes of Billo, Hannity and Malkin, it could get ugly.
I suspect that the Thom Hartman and Randi Rhodes incidents are not unrelated. The wackos realize that they are under pressure and are reacting in the only way they know how. Facts and reality are simply things that need to be beaten out of the way. I suspect and hope that she will recover quickly and not be subjected to PTSD.

She didn't lie. She actually believed it. She's delusional like most of her listeners.
That fact that she was not mugged just completely eluded her.
Rhodes? Do something wrong like trip over her own feet? Not possible, she is just to sophisticated and enlightened for that. Couldn't be. It must have been some outside evil force like a deranged conservative.
Just like good news to liberals. It must be verified with multiple, verifiable sources and even then, the sources are condemned as puppets of the corporate conspiracy.

I don't know, why does she lie almost everytime she speaks?Wait, it's not a lie if you actually believe the stupid crap that comes out of your mouth. Who knows, maybe she was looking for some kind a attention, Air America has about 25 listeners, so maybe she thought she would get some press if she said she was mugged instead of falling off balance from all the air in her head.
