Well of course they are a lot of odd and different cosmetics and tools, but not everybody needs all of those things all at once! Some of those things you listed are actually good products, but not every woman has all of them at the same time. Every woman has different wants and needs, so that's why the beauty industry makes so many to cosmetics and tools to satisfy every woman.

i know, there are many useless products out there, but :as you get older, you probably will appreciate good quality anti-aging products, i am 46, and yes, they do help. once you have to chase a couple of toddlers around all day, you might like the idea of nailpolish, that dries in 20 seconds, because that's all the time you have. when i was 16, i could wait 30 minutes for my nails to dry, now i either do without polish, or use the fast drying kind. the stupid thing you put between your toes is really helpful, when your hands and your eyesight are not, what they used to be, i find it very helpful to use. eyebrow pencils are great, because your brows will get a lot thinner, the older you get. lips also get thinner with age, that's where plumper comes in handy. there are many things i used to make fun of, or considered to be BS, when i was a teenager, but age is a pretty good teacher.

I agree with you. My votes for stupidest makeup products go to eye cream, eyebrow gel and lip plumpers. It's funny to me that a couple of the products you don't use are necessary to me. My eyebrows are thinning now that I'm getting older, so I wear eyebrow pencil everyday, but I don't own the gel or the brush or the powder. I do my own nails instead of getting manicures, and the fast-drying stuff I use works really well, and now I don't ruin my polish in my sleep.

I use 1/2 of the things you are talking about, like the fast drying nail polish spray...I love it! Dries in 1/2 the time, time is of the essence when you have a newborn and the eyebrow pencil, i do color (just Little) my brows, they are very blonde and need some help.
The product that I think is a waste of money is the anitcellite cream, it is fat cells, can't get rid of them with a magic cream.

If something is on the market for more than 1 year, it means that the product is in demand somewhere, and that someone has use for it. There will always be some skincare products and makeup items that will be useful for other people, but not to you. For example, I have no use for foundation primer even though I use foundation, but I know several other women who buy this religiously. Similarly, I like liquid and cream eyeliner, but there are some women who never wear eyeliner, or just wear one or the other. What's right for you may not always be right for someone else, and vice versa. You may not need eyebrow powder, but I like to use it occassionally to achieve a dramatic look....and without a topcoat on my nailpolish, it starts to chip much sooner.

Well it really depends on the product, where, and what you get. Like I love getting stuff from M.A.C the stuff works like a charm, also Sephora is like a makeup world for me. Also Covergirl products work well. And toe seperators are awesome! It's to make sure you toes don't touch and turn to crap when you paint them. It's good if you don't wanna pay $40 for a mani. Well gots to go.
au revoir,
blondie.

Ya says you.... I guess this is coming from someone who doesn't use any make-up right? Yes people REALLY need fast drying nail polish spray. Your getting ready to go out and notice a chip, you fix it and the spray it and you don't have to worry about it messing up. Eyebrown pencil? Yes theres TONS of people who REALLLY need to because their eyebrows are so light you cant see them. Lipstick sealer? Not everyone wants their lipstick to bleed everywhere. I could go on and on about how stupid your being!

I agree, so many products just don't do what they say they will and are a big old waste of money. I now try to buy cosmetics where they will take returns so I'm not stuck with products that are disappointing.

lmao...XD yeah. It's the belief I reckon. If enough people say it works then they believe it. Adverts are very brainwashing these days. I really don't see the point myself. I mean, nail sprays are releasing green house gases into the atmosphere because people want their nails to dry one minute faster? That's just stupid.

Well, I suppose you can say that ALL make-up is stupid. But, yes, I feel there are some crazy items on the market.
