No because I didn't care when Imus got fired and I won't care when Imus is back on the air.

It still amazes how some of you release your racial tensions and racist inclinations on Al Sharpton when all he did was point out how racist and sexist Imus is and has always been. Freedom of speech works both ways. We are a democratic capitalist country and the network and its advertisers wanted him off. Now apparently they are willing to be associated with Imus so he's back on....this is what our country is about!

I find my self actually liking Sharpton. At the time of the Brawley case, I thought the man was a major opportunist blowhard. Now I believe he is a principled leader. In the Imus case I thought the matter was too minor for all the fuss. Who really cares what that annoying Imus says? I didn't like Sharpton's stand, I thought it was far overblown, but I completely understood it. Why would I laugh at him? Why would anyone laugh at him? What an absurd, utterly juvenile thing to do.

I would if he wasn't such a big threat to free speech.
Sharpton - not Imus.

Maybe just a snicker. Imus made a stupid comment, but not so bad an apology shouldn't be enough. Larry Craig's still in the Senate of the United States.

Personally, both men are social politicing, headline-seeking buffoons out for personal gain at the expense of anyone crazy enough to buy into their agendas. Who truly cares what these dinosaurs have to say about anything enough to laugh (or cry) at their antics? That's my opinion.

No, Don Imus should have been fired.
He has been off the radio for 6 months, and hopefully he has learned to conduct himself appropriately.
