It's a fine, classic name, as long as the popularity doesn't concern you (fast rising on Jacob and Noah's heels ... bit of a combination of the two, I suppose).

It's obviously not the same STYLE as Gavin (clearly Biblical versus familiar Celtic), but they don't sound odd for siblings, if that's what you mean.

Do you like them? Does your husband like them? If that's the case, then that's the name you should use. They sound fine together but you won't be saying both their names together all the time.... nothing wrong with Jonah.

Nah! Jonah stands for bad luck, (He's a Jonah) my choice would be David John, but then it's your baby.

I'm not trying to bash it or anything, it means a lot to you if it's what you're considering, but it sounds like a weird lisp from a country person when you say it. I think the first name's cute, but maybe the middle name can be something that flows smoother.

They are cute and unusual names. I like them. That sounds good. Have you bought a baby book of names yet? If not, there are some pretty good ones in there.
