Irregardless of outcome, in consideration of what I'm seeing in Congress, I see this election as being the beginning of hardtimes for all less-than-wealthy Americans. The longevity of which could be many years to come.

What about New Zealanders?
I find it all very interesting. What is decided in America makes an impact on the world.
But I still don't know the difference between Republicans and Democrats. I imagine Republicans would be like our Labour Party and Democrats like out National perhaps.
Do Americans vote for the Person, or for the Party? Maybe I should put that as a question myself

When America sneezes the world catches a cold. So it is important to us who becomes your next President. Right now our Prime Minister in Australia, has announced, elections for November 24Th. We don't have these long drawn out campaigns. I personally would like to see the Democrats back in. but not very sure which Candidate would be best.

I really do try to go for the bigger picture...looking down the road, so to speak and trying to fathom who may or may not be able to make a positive difference......read a lot on behind the scenes actions of the candidates, voting records, involvements, who they may owe their proverbial souls to...etc etc.

This election seems to be shaping up to be more one of the more interesting ones in awhile...........we shall see

I don't usually comment on political questions but It has been my observation that whomever is elected whether good or bad merely become puppets to the large corporations who make the most money. This is true for any country.

I try to see the big picture, not focusing on one thing but the things important to help our country. It is an interesting group of people running.

Politics are not a good subject. I go for what I want and not who made the most money or who has the biggest mouth and the fattest lies coming out of it.

It's right up there on my list of things that are important, along side of watching the neighbours cat sleeping and just below my avid interest in counting the hairs on my knees

It just seems such a shame to me, that they have started the campaigns so early. Will have to see smear campaigns out there for a long, long time. (Yawn)
