i'm sorry to admit that i don't know Schoeppenhauer an Heidegger's point of views. I just believe, boredom is some sort of lazyness.. there is just so much to do in this world rather than just lying around like a leech. (not very poetic, sorry) or else it's just a lack or imagination, to find what to do .. somethings are unexpected.

I very much support him on his point on boredom. It has influenced me and make me more content by being aware and not to get bored.

boredom is you. if you can't find something to do with your time then you should "check yourself". i am never bored.

it's just being unenthusiastic about doing/not doing things...
thus whether you are doing something or simply musing...after awhile, everything can't be helped but become really boring.
