I don't particulary care for their work ethics but they are the cheapest and they do good work, if you can get them to work. Well, anyway, a few days ago, I was watching them work. There are 2 of them. One of them was on a ladder and he asked 'what are you doing'? I said 'just watching you, that's all'
he said 'you're looking at my butt aren't you? huh? That's sexual harrassment." so I laughed with this disgusting type of laugh and walked away.So then a few days later, they were late showing up. I called this guys cell phone and told him ''what's going on" You were do at 9am and its now 9:45. Where are you?" I left my number and hung up.In less than 2 min they were here. Appox an hr or so after that, the same guy comes up to me and says "you gotta stop calling me and leaving those sexual messages" Again a disgusting laugh and I said "in your dreams" He walked away and has never said anything else.
I have EXTREMLEY careful since then not too look or speak to him, what do you think?

Some men are just so full of themselves (and so insecure) that they have to flirt and make sexual comments to any woman that gives them more than 30 seconds of attention. It is HIS problem, not yours. But keep yourself distant, as you have. I doubt that he will make trouble, but it is better to protect yourself as best you can. If he is NOT the crew chief, head contractor or boss, you might want to mention this to that person, so they are also aware of it.

He thinks pretty HIGH AND MIGHTY of himself.... Personally I would Dump him. A contractor must be respectful of everyone. I find that most seem to treat women poorly like we are stupid. I had an experience with a bad one too....He tried to make money off the material I had already bought and paid for and from the foundation that was already been poured. He told me I have no right to be my own Contractor...at that point my Father in law ran into my front room While my husband ran to the back room.. KNOWING there was going to be an explosion of yelling Anger from my mouth! He was treating me like I was being stupid and he was trying to cut corners on building codes....Thankfully I knew all about this stuff and My hubby knew as well as my father in law. I told the guy to get the Heck out of my house and never come back! As it turnes out the work he did on his own Uncles brand new home had not been up to building code and work was stopped for a year after the building inspector came along and the poor uncle had to hire another reliable contractor to fix the nephews mess! He is no longer in business!
And the way I see your situation .. this guy might not be rich and needs money fast....so a contractor like that maybe looking for an easy way out to promote a COURT CASE AGAINST you in a law suit for sexual harrassment! He may have done shawdy work elsewhere for someone else and got sued himself and lost money so he may have to make that loss up. GET RID OF HIM!
