my friend told me that i couldnt sing! it really hurt! other people say that i am a really good singer! idk what to do! is she just jeleous? srry i cant spell. still she said it meanly and it hurt!!!

Maybe she is jealous....but from personal experience....my friend tells me that I can't sing at all.....guess what I still sing.

Keep on singing. Maybe that friend said it in a joking manner. Maybe not. Either way, do not let it bring you down. Tell that person that it really hurt your feelings. They could be jealous, or just really dont enjoy your voice or the way you sing. There are millions of artists in the world and not everyone loves all of them. I like some artists, but not others. People are attracted to different forms of music, different styles, different voices. Or maybe you could ask that friend what it is that they dont like and take it into consideration and work on it.

If you truly love to sing and every one else who has heard you sing has given you praise for it, than you shouldn't stop it.
Sometimes our friends just have a hard time being happy for us when we can do something better than they can. It's not easy when someone you really want to impress is the person who SEEMS least impressed.
If you love to do it and you feel you are good at it keep on singing.......because there is nothing worse than allowing one person's opinion to take away from you something you love.

Don't let just one person let you down. Think of all the times an American Idol contestant has been put down by the judges, that doesn't necessarily mean their career is over. Everyone has different opinions and you will meet all types of people through out your life, people who give you positive feedback and negative feedback. Yes, it's possible she could be jealous.

tell her that your worried that she might nt get through tell her that your going to record her and get her to sing her best (get her to sing a song that another BGT contestent has sang) and first play a recording of the same song by the BGT contestant then ask her who was that (she should say somebody else) and ask her to rate it out of 10 then repeat with hers and say if she gives a score higher than the others im sorry izzie but your really not that good :( if she gets annoyed she obviusly doesnt value your opinion :( GOODLUCK D:

If they are one of your really good friends then chances are you can't sing...sorry but true friends will not lie to you like all the other people who are telling you that you can sing. Don't be upset some of us aren't meant to be singers.

do what u think u do best...if she say u cannot sing....keep singing in front of her....she'll know when to shut up...
but at the same time, u must practice ur singing too..so that it really sounds good to hear... :)
