Ok, i need some opinions here. I have never owned a pair of boots before, and i really want to buy a pair for when it starts getting cold. I found a pair that i like on stevemadden.com but they are not available to buy at any of their stores, they are strictly for online. Do you think i should just order them online and if i don't like them i can always send them back, or do you think it is to risky to order them with out trying them on because i don't know how boots fit and look on? Also there is another pair of shoes that i saw on their website that can only be purchased online. Same question...should i just order them, and if i don't like them i can return them or should i just steer clear of ordering shoes with out getting to try them on first?

Ordering shoes on line is okay as long as you make sure your size is correct from length to width at your foot.

Check the return policy for shipping items back. I've ordered shoes online before without any problems but boots can be tricky in their fit.
If the return policy isn't clearly defined then call customer service. Most of the time you'll be out shipping cost both ways. If shipping isn't that expensiver then go for it!

If you do not mind taking the time to send them back, then go ahead and order them online. For me, I dislike ordering clothes/sunglasses on the internet strickly because I know I will be too lazy to send them back. I recommend trying on a pair of SteveMaddens at a store to see if the sizes correspond to what you are accustomed too. Then go from there. Goodluck.

I would not buy shoes online becuse when you get them in the mail they might be too small or not exactly what you thought so if you find what you want like at target onlie or something call the stor closest to you ask them if they have those and then go look at them..that way no suprises becuse returns can be awful!!!
plus you can change your mind

Most online stores will have an excellent returns policy. They know you can't try before you buy, and so as long as you keep them in new condition will accept returns. Check out the stores return policy for online sales. If they won't let you return it unless it's faulty, then don't buy from them.

With the problems I have fitting shoes, I don't buy mine online anymore. I've had too many problems. Remember, if they don't fit good when you first put them on, they aren't for you. You don't break in a pair of shoes, the shoes just damage your foot.

I would go to the store & try on similar Steve Madden boots for fit, then order what I wanted online.

Most online clothing and shoe stores will take returns for wrong sizes, wrong colour, etc as long as the item is still new - DON'T WEAR THEM OUTSIDE, just walk around your home a bit to see if they fit & you like them.

If you can safely return them back, i see no problem. But tbh its always best to try on shoes instore ^^. Also i think boots take longer to wear in =P. So you might want to order/buy them sooner rather than later.

Hope that helps ^^.
