I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, and I am not looking for any insults... but we have found the withdrawal method completely unsatisfying... I am allergic to latex and the non latex condoms still give me a rash, I am quite sensitive. I do not want to take any conventional bc methods, as I am scared when I am ready to conceive, I will not be able to and having children of mine is a dream, especially after having a miscarriage recently at ten weeks. I was considering ovulation monitoring but I work full time and am a full time student... I dont have time to eat on days, let alone take my temperature, and I do not have sex more frequently than a few times a month.. I just want to make sure we are ready before we try to conceive again without using chemicals

There is no highly effective natural method of birth control, other than of course abstinence, which I'm guessing isn't what you're asking for!!

Some people use the "rhythm" method which is based on when you're ovulating, but it's always possible to have an off month, so it isn't the greatest. I also know that if a woman is breastfeeding, then the chances of conception are lower, but not obsolete.

The Natural Family Planning people claim that their method is 97-99% effective. You have to be willing to abstain at certain times of the month and to keep track of your CM.
Its worth looking into if you feel strongly about not using conventional contraceptives.
Best of luck.

Now, you know the only effective birth control of any kind is abstinence. There is no "natural" birth control that is totally effective- or even very effective.

If done properly, coitus interruptus can be quite effective.
