Aften when a man behaves in a way a women disapproves of.. he is labeled as "immature". The behaviors women consider immature are usually just things women wouldn't do.
I don't get why a mans way of dealing with things has to be immature. Fighting is immature, video games are immature, getting too drunk is immature.. etc.
Why do women think they set the standard on maturity? I think shopping all day is immature.

Everyone is immature in one way or another in my opinion, including many of the "feminists" on this forum.

I don't think women set the standard on maturity but maturity is a thing that is shown in actions & self control. I believe maturity to be achieved when a person cares more about others than themselves. Therefore if you care more about video games or shopping all day then your significant other, you're immature. As far as actions go... if you drink so much that you look like an idiot and lose your self-control, yes you are immature. I think that goes for anyone, not just men. I hold my standards across the board and don't associate with anyone that acts in that sort of fashion. I think that if I were to hang around with a girl that was easy, everyone else would think I was easy too (capisce?) This is my idea on it. I don't think I am law or think that my opinion is the only one that counts.

Because just as beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
there is a highly feared demon of immaturity in every woman that is wont to label a man as immature
and when that inner button of immaturity is activated in the woman by something that she observes, the hatred for that inner thing automatically brings up emotional response of aversion
women see men physically fighting
and cringe
and the only way they know to fight is by the more powerful going for the jugglar vein of voice battle
they are far more into the naming as if calling a cat a dog makes it into one
and they even believe themselves
when woman get together, every group and every generation has little descriptive image boxes that they agree to put things into in their gossips and this to the seems to make the world more tidy and manageable
hey but ya gotta love em eh?
and if you chance to find one that actually did mature and grow out of all these petty little word games
you are blessed way more than most men

im a woman and i love video games and fighting if i have too is fine by me too i dont drunk but i dont see the problem with it as long as ur not hurting any one by doing it these things dont make a guy immature now there are some things that makes men immature and there are stuff that makes women immature

Maybe because these things ARE immature. The fights are always over nothing, the video games waste time, and getting drunk is just damaging yourself and is idiotic.
Stop trying to justify your immature actions. You're not 13.. or at least, I hope you aren't.

I just think it is a way of thinking that women tend to follow. I really think it is cool my husband invites his friends over to play video games and hang out. None of us are old enough to drink but if we were I am sure we would drink too. I like to watch the guys "play fight" at the beach when we are there at night. I do like to shop but I hate to hang out all day at the stores. So, would just say it depends on the woman and their friends.

Many men and women are quite immature. Women just like to complain about it more often. Pretty simple, really.
When a girl stomps off and cries because her boyfriend didn't say the exact perfect thing that there's no way for him to even know - does he go complain about it to other people? Nope, he either takes care of it or lets her do her thing in peace.
And, speak for yourself on acts of immaturity. I hardly play any video games. Never been TOO drunk. And fight only as a last resort to protect me and mine. I handle any problem with logical reasoning.

I'm a woman and I don't like to shop. However, it's true that males mature more slowly than females. That might be one of the reasons many women like men who are a few years older than they are. They're more equal emotionally.

Men mostly are immature, in my opinion anyways. I mean it's just the "NORM" that woman are more mature then men when it comes down to alot of important areas. I mean I can't remember the last time I could just sit down and play kid video games all day. I mean fighting, playing video games and getting drunk are childish things that grown mature adults don't do. My man is a man, let me just say. I don't feel he is immature in the least bit, however if someone continues to tell you that you are immature and it bothers you, maybe there is some kernal of truth to it and maybe you need to take a look at that.
