You have a "nipper" in your tank!! One of the other goldfish had nipped the tail off of the fish in the video!!
This possibly started out as tail/fin rot which weakened the fish. Something as severe as in the photo can't be attributed to fungal infection. If that happened literally overnight, you've got a nipper.... or two!!
Sorry to say, but the fish isn't going make it much longer if you keep it in the same tank as its in now. It needs its own tank. 10 gallon tank will do as this fish needs at least 6 weeks of intensive care. If you're not prepared to separate this fish and nurse it back to health..... you should euthanize the fish!
The are a few time honored painless ways to euthanize a fish. The method I use is to put the fish in a zip lock bag filled with bottled/tank water and put it in the freezer.
If you do nothing, the fish will be gradually eaten by it's tank mates. The bacteria that will colonize on your dying fish will be passed on to the fish that are munching on it. You should put it in a hospital tank or euthanize.....
You'll get many suggestions, lectures and diagnosis on this matter.... I agree with most I've read. How you personally deal with the situation is a matter of personal choice.

Overnight? Are you certain? The fin was displaying no signs of raggedness or splitting prior to this? It could be fin rot, but those sorts of signs should've shown up over a period of time longer than overnight. An overnight attack by other fish of this level is pretty extreme and usually only happens when the fish is sick or weakened already. How many goldfish do you have in this tank? While it is a larger tank, still, for goldfish, you should only have 3-4 in this size tank. There may be an aggressiveness being created by overcrowding, an aggressiveness brought on by the presence of a sickened fish, possibly sickened by overcrowding. Regardless of the reason, however, you must do some analysis of your tank and situation to determine why this happened and correct the problem, or it’s just going to get worse, you must take this fish out and put it in its own quarantine/hospital tank and get it medicated before the fin damage gets infected. You must separate this fish from the rest for two reasons. One, if you don't, the aggressiveness will continue and two, any disease that results from the damage, and disease will result if you don't treat it, will be passed on to the other fish. You can use salt or an antibiotic such as Maracyn or Maracyn-2 to treat the tank. Salt is good as it also relieves stress and is easier to tolerate than chemicals, but if the infection gets severe, you would need something stronger like a chemical med. The fin will, eventually, grow back as long as the damage wasn't down to the skin.

This is Hexamita, more serious than fin rot because it is a protozoan paracite. Rare but can be deadly. Causes are inadiquite nutrition, inadiquite lighting, and most of all poor water quality. I notice the tank walls are pristine, that's not always a good sign and can indicate high ammonia and or nitrite. First of all change a good bit of the water, 75% or more. The lack of algae growing on the glass says the tank may be new right? Go here http://www.fishyfarmacy.com/ and order metronidazole to treat, also called Flagyl.
Dosing - Move affected fish to 10 gallon hospital tank and add 2 250 milligram tablets of Flagyl to the tank every third or forth day for three treatments.
Good note Flagyl doesn't harm the beneficial bacteria in the filter you can use it in the main tank, or use the filter from the main tank, but a hospital tank is recommended.
MELAFIX DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! Waste of time and money don't use it, it will NOT work.

when goldfish are sick the other goldfish pick on it
thus why the tail is so short the best thing you can do now is prevent further damage get fin rot medication because soon it will get it and that might finish off the tall permanently aswell try switching your dechlorinater for one that contains aloe vera that will help the regrowth of the tail
but just to tell you the tail might not grow back the way it was
and in the process might heal together and the tail will be deformed

It looks like fin/tail rot. There is also the possibility that your fish had fin/tail rot and may have gotten stuck in a filter, decoration exc. You should put your fish in a quarantine tank with fin/tail rot medication. Make sure to keep your water clean, tail rot is caused by dirty water. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get your water tested as well.

a million interior the spring or breeding season the boys (if sufficiently old) will improve breeding turbicles or little white zits on hig gills 2when waiting the male will chase the female around till she drops the eggs then the male will circulate down and fertalize them.. 3I'd say you're able to prefer a 40 gallon tank to reproduce them yet a 30 gallon basically for them to stay!

he has fin rot, you can try to medicate but he'll probably die. even if you medicate his fins probably won't grow back. i can't remember what the medication is called but they should have it at any pet store that sells fish
