In light of information revealed by Palpatine to Anakin, it becomes distinctly possible that Darth Plagueis may in fact be Anakin's 'father'. It is known that Darth Plagueis had the ability to create or sustain life through manipulation of midi-chlorians, and Anakin's conception bears a notable resemblance to this concept. Though Sidious told Anakin he never learned the secret from his master, it is unknown whether Anakin was a key in rediscovering the secret or merely an extremely powerful pawn. It is also very possible that Palpatine was just lying, as he usually does, deceiving Anakin on his path to the Dark Side of the Force.
Another possibility is that Sidious himself could have been Anakin's "father" if he had learned the power to influence midi-chlorians from his master.
It is impossible to know for certain what the truth is, yet these remain as two distinct possibilities.

Yeah, i assume Anakin's father became a vacationing salesman who bought mom greater advantageous than she bargained for. The powers of the rigidity have been dormant interior the Skywalker lineage till Anakin became born. without the common father rolemodel, Anakin became given loose reign over his passions and suggestions....hence gaining knowledge of and refining his powers.

Not really...
Besides, the canon sources (not that they are that reliable...since Leia's Mother was supposed to die on Aldaaran when Leia was a young girl, and to have married Bail Organa) indicate that the Force caused the pregnancy.

Master Chu has the best answer. No direct father and the most possible "father" being Darth Plaguelis or Darth Sidious himself.

It would seem, he's the immaculate conception. But if you watch carefully, there is a moment between Shmi and Qui Gon. So I think Qui Gon had an affair with her previously and erased that memory, but she remembers something.

I thought they explained this in the Phantom Menace. there was no father, he was just placed in his mother's womb by the midicloreans; kind of an immaculate conception in space.
