I have attended 4 universities and only put in the app that I had attended 3. I lied because i really want to attend this university and the last university I attended I didn't do so well due to the fact that I stop going to school because I had just found out I was HIV+. I did't do so good the last semester and if i would had added this university, I don't think I would had been accepted. What are the chances they will find out? What should I do?

You know, honesty is the best policy. Why put yourself into a position of having to wonder and look over your shoulder? Go to the admissions office and ask to speak to one of the officers and explain the entire situation as you did in here. I would not be as concerned about the grades at the last university considering the medical facts. The fact that you have attended 4 different universities in a short period of time might be more problematic. Just like with people who are labelled "job hoppers", they don't look favorably on folks who can't commit and follow through. Make very certain you have TRUTHFUL and valid explanations for why you move around so much.

If it is the last university that you went to, it is unlikely that they would find out. They aren't going to take the time (or expense) to do a background check.

However, if you had financial aid at that school, it could come out when they try to find out if you qualify for aid at the new school.

It is very likely they will find out because they will check your background. you should try to fix you appl. before this situation gets worse or they will drop you from their univesity
