I had sex early on Saturday morning, and although it is only Tuesday, I believe I can detect a change in my body. On Sunday afternoon, I felt "full" in my uterus area, had cramps across my lower abdomen, and when I lay down, my uterus felt taut. Today it feels kind of tingly, it still feels full, and I have the occasional twinge of pain. Starting yesterday, I had what seems like extra discharge. It also feels like I have gas pains, but have hardly passed any gas in 3 days! Might these be early signs of pregnancy? It is still too early for me to get a positive test result, but I want to know if I should maybe get a bit excited!

I'm asking this because my best friend could tell the day she got pregnant that it had happened. I know it could be psychological, but I believe I could also be feeling something for real. I know that there aren't any pregnancy hormones in me yet, which is why I don't have nausea or sore breasts yet, but the feeling in my uterus is unmistakeably different than anything I've ever felt before. I don't usually feel my ovulations at all, so having these cramps is not the norm for me. Also, kleighsmom, I don't need a sex ed class; I know all about it, and I know that pregnancy hormones only start when the zygote implants. I'm 25, not 5, there's no need to be derogatory.

Ya know I'm going through a similar situation. My boyfriend and I had sex on the 10th, I'm not due until the 22nd but I've been feeling these wierd feelings like that I am pregnant. I've never had them before. Like you said I know it's too early to tell but the wait is killing me! I want to know if these feeling I'm having are that I am really pregnant! I know people too that could tell the minute they were pregnant! I don't know how! Well girl you and me are just going to have to wait! My advice to you as I've been trying to do- not think about it right now! Because everytime I think there is a possibility I get excited and I want it BUT! if it turns out that I'm not pregnant then I would be a bit upset. So don't get your hopes up and remember there is nothing we could do until it's time for a pregnancy test! Good luck! Hope it all works out for you!

Some women can tell when they have conceived. Hormones begin to change right away. After implantation there is a different kind of hormone that is produced which is why you hav eto wait to test cause this is the one that shopws up on the test. You must be in touch with your body. I knew I was pg with my son the day after we conceived. I have sore nipples immedietaley. I am TTC right now again and I could swear I have feelings of early pregnancy. I think you know your body, but you can easily be fooled as well so take it easy and wait it out :). Good luck! OH... and with my first pg i got a positive test 11 days after we conceived! A faint one but the next day is was brighter! He is three now!

You might be pregnant but it is way too early for any of your "symptoms" to be pregnancy related. Implantation will have not even occurred yet so no real changes will be taking place yet in your body. All of these signs could simply be PMS symptoms or, as another poster mentioned, could be signs of ovulation.

No, don't get excited yet. For one, it is far too early to be having pregnancy symptoms! Wait until time for your first missed period before you start worrying about being pregnant and testing.

It was far too early to know. You would not have any signs within days of being pregnant. Wait until your period is due. If it's late, take a test.

Try not to get too excited. Wait about a week and a half and take a test.

I hope you get the answer you want.

It might have been ovulation (you get more discharge and cramps around that time) or you could be pregnant.
I would wait it out until your period is late.
