I'm a stay at home mom, plus I run an online business, so my life is at home. However, most days I'm not lounging around in my PJ's with my hair all a mess.

I've always been the type of person that looking good makes me feel better, whether I'm out on the town or just sitting at home. Plus, during the day, I run lots of errands so I'm not always at home. I like to be presentable at all times. I don't believe in completely letting myself go just because I"m married with two children.

What I do is...after I get up with the kids, get my daughter off to school, and have my son ready for the day, I let my son play in his play pen, while I take a shower (not a rushed 5 minute thing), do my hair, makeup, and find something nice to wear. (Even if its just nice jeans and a sweater) I straighten up the house throughout the day but do most of my cleaning before bed, so I don't get too messed up throughout the day *lol*

I also schedule monthly one-hour massages, manicures, getting my hair colored, etc. Doing something like this helps you feel good. Even just getting a haircut can motivate you to keep yourself up.

My glam days include wearing my cute sweats with the pink stripes and putting on my pink t-shirt. I work from home too, I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and my daughter will be 3 in January. I still work part-time at another job which forces me to look a little better three days a week. I think glam is over-rated but I do put on a little glitter lip gloss on occasion. Are ponytails glam? Ha ha!

not anymore. i gave it up a while back when i started working 12 hour night shifts. that just sucked all the life outof me.

but i have 2 good kids, 17 and 18, and they help run the house and do chores and cooking, and now i've got an 8 hour shift instead of 12. so i think we can turn thismess around witha little hard work (i mean the mess the house is in)

as for being glam, i just usually braid my hair at night, wet with gel on it, so when i take it down, thats it, it's done for the day.
(but when i go to work i have to put it up)
makeup--minimal;eyeshadow,eyeliner and conceler undereyes, plus sheer blush and light powder. takes all of 5 minutes to do this. then lip gloss in a light color to finish off.

thats about it for me

As a mom of three who stays at home and homeschools my kids I totally understand the non glam feeling!!!
Something that I do is make sure that I take the time either once a week or once through the day to do something that makes me feel pretty, attractive...course my husband is a huge help there!!!
But even if it is getting a special face moisterizer...whatever it be...do something for yourself! Something that really helps me is a great haircut!! Something that is easy to maintain so that I don't have to do it every day for it to look good and yet something I can really fix up also.
This makes a great differance!

Get up everyday and get ready. After all, you're going to work, and you're the executive manager. Treat it like a job, wear make-up, style your hair. It's hard to do, but get your "getting ready routine" down to 15 minutes or less by putting your hair in a neat bun or pony tail. Make-up shoudl never take more than five minutes, and wear a pair of cute jeans and a fitted t-shirt or a cute sweater. It will be a great boost to your confidence, and it only takes 15 minutes.

not a mom, but here's some help:
-pamper yourself: take a bath, whatever
-wash your face
-delete some stress-it kills your skin
-relax
-use lotions, etc.
-drink tea or whatever else helps you relax.
