Mathematically it would take 4 wins:

jets have 1-5
Bills have 1-4
dolphins have 0-6

In the Next 4 wins each one of those teams could have 7 losses and the Patriots would have 10 wins. They can not clinch earlier because the Jets, Bills and Dolphins have the patriots again later in the season so there is no way to seal tie breaker.

i do no longer think of it's going to ensue. Sorry guy. The Broncos and Chargers are surely the comparable team for my area - extensive offenses, crappy defenses, youthful, gifted QB's, however the Chargers have a important benefit - I have faith their working sport so plenty greater. of direction, if the Broncos did no longer manage to injure 38 runningbacks this season, i might desire to have a diverse opinion, yet that may not the case. The Broncos could prefer this sport to be a shootout - Cutler VS Rivers. Being thoroughly trouble-free, if the sport went like that, it would be a much greater thrilling sport. intense scoring, thrilling, and yet another early financial disaster for 2 youthful QB's with various potential in a bitter divisional showdown - and this ones for a playoff spot. although, if the Chargers are smart, they're going to run the ball against a porous protection, play clock administration, and shop Cutler, Royal, and Marshall on the sidelines. The Chargers have a greater balanced offense, yet i could have faith Cutler and those receivers against arguably the worst bypass protection interior the league greater so than i could Rivers and his forged against the Broncos. although, if the Chargers can get LTD in touch working the ball, and win the time of possession conflict by potential of a landslide, the Broncos does not be waiting to locate a groove offensively, and their protection could get worn down immediately. although, if the Chargers turn this right into a shootout, i think of the Broncos take it.+ playstation - if it makes you sense from now on useful, i think of the NFC West is worse than the AFC West. Crash - Do you think of the East more advantageous that plenty? Or do you think of they benefitted by potential of enjoying the AFC and NFC West? If any branch had that element table, i could anticipate each and every team to end .500 or greater useful - it is going to be an common 5 or 6 wins in those 8 video games. then you definately get yet another 2 or 3 interior the branch, and you're a minimum of at .500..... granted each and each team (Pats aside) did advance plenty, yet i think of i could nevertheless rank the AFC East as between the 4 worst divisions interior the NFL.

Jets and Buffalo are both 1-5....

If the trend keeps up.. it shouldn't but a few more weeks to clinch it..

Unless Miami wins this weekend...

Man, I'd laugh if that happened...

Well now is a good time to get your hopes up. I mean 7 weeks into a 16 week season is long enough to know who is going to do what, what injuries will happen to who and when and who will have a chance to be in the playoffs.
