haha, yes, i forgot about the "could care less" one. When someone says, "I could care less", I always think, "ok, well go ahead and do so then"....

Any word that makes a noun into a verb, such as "incentivize."

I could care less instead of I couldn't care less.

Using "penultimate" to mean final or best, when it means next to last.

The supposely one really annoys the crap out of me especially where I am from (A large hispanic community, I am also hispanic) with our accent it just makes me go crazy.

as a biology teacher i hate it when people say Di-ssect (which would mean cut in two from that pronunciation)instead of the correct dis-sect(cut apart).

"it's" instead of "its" -- technically, it's [sic. cf = it is comp. possessive] "every word has ITS meaning";
still not sure about:
'hopefully';
could/ couldn't care less;

supposably!! i hate it! and when i try to correct the person, i'm the one who is wrong. i hate it..or basiclly...dear lord... if i hear that again...i have a co-worker who likes to say, "due to the fact" what that hell...i mean, for everything? in her notes she puts, "i am not able to attend due to the fact i'm sick"... what the....i mean...really!
