many people spot in the beginning so I would just let your OB know and see what she has to say about that. With my first my breast were not sore. All I had was cramping, spotting, and excess discharge. He is now a healthy 4 yr old! I am 16 weeks with my 3rd pregnnacy and this is the first time I ever encountered sore breast so everyone does not have that as a symptom. Seeing and hearing the baby on the U/S is an excellant sign!

I have had a similar experience - I didn't have sore breasts at all for my pregnancy, which is very normal. some women may have that or not. As for the spotting, some women spot through their entire pregnancy, some even get their periods. If you saw your baby and the doctor said everything is good then I would not worry about this. The spotting may stop soon anyway.

What did your doctor say about the spotting? Call him/her and make him/her explain everything to you. I am 13 pregnant with my 2nd and never had any spotting. Are you cramping too? If you are having spotting and cramping together, go the doctor's now. Your breasts don't have to be tender all the time to still be pregnant. Good luck!

I think I am approximately 8 weeks pregnant and I have not really experienced breast tenderness. I did one day, which was a sign that I was pregnant, but other than that, none. I could not comment on the spotting, though. I have not experienced that.

A friend of mine never had a single symptom (throwing up, breast tenderness, mood swings, nothin') and had a full period for the first three months of her pregnancy right on time. Everyone is different. If you're worried, go back to your doctor.
