HELP, my water is black and it smells like rotten eggs??? What is this???

I have a well, and no, I didn`t just have a poop! It was coming from the tap...It was blackish....

How do you treat this problem??? Bleach in your well??? How do you get rid of the staining in the toilet and on the faucets??

The 'rotten egg` smell is hydrogen sulfide.
Common in ground water, but also a product
of biological decomposition.
Many sulfide salts are black but so are many
biological contaminants.
Something is definitely very wrong.
You don't say if this is well water or municipal
water, or a private home or apartment.
Get the water checked.

"Rotten egg" smell comes from sulfur. I'd get the water tested ASAP if I were you.
If it is municipal water, call your water company. If it is from a well, you'll have to find someone to test it for you.
