Skelmersdale??

Ello...
Can someone tell me if Skelmersdale is a bad place to live, and if anyone can tell me which are the less rougher places to live...!! Not saying that any where is rough but I am thinking of moving there, and the houses that look amazing inside and have 3/4 bedrooms are very cheap and was wondering why!?!? There must be a reason???

Basically Skelmersdale was built to house the overspill from Liverpool. It's full of them. If you want to live in that area try Ormskirk or Upholland rather than Skem.
