well poop doesn't really stay inside us.. it comes out.. so you can't call poop a part of our insides..
so our insides are not actually disgusting and dirty, it actually keeps itself clean by pushing out the dirty, disgusting poop.

yup, the human body is pretty nasty on the inside... you'd puke if you got a whiff of some good old fashioned bile. And poop is toxic waste that would make you sick to eat... your brain gives you that sick feeling because it knows you shouldn't eat this stuff... it's an ingrained food aversion.

Poop is the waste that our bodies put off because it should not be in there. It is full of bacteria. Why are we disgusted by it? Have you smelled yours lately???

It doesn't bother me in the least. Why should it? It's normal and natural.

Our insides are a beautiful living and working machine. It is perfection. There is no dirt. Only life.

It is an evolved reaction. Fecal matter can carry all sorts of harmful bacteria, diseases, and parasites, so our ancient ancestors learned to stay away from it. The revulsion reaction kept them healthy, so they lived longer and had more kids, and all their descendants (us) have the same reaction by instinct.

Our minds instinctually know what is good for us and what is bad, especially when it comes to eating. Certain things in nature look gross because our minds know they're not good for us to eat. Feces, for instance, disgusts us because it's not edible.

Stuff that's unnaturally colored - like blue soft drinks, for instance - do not trigger this, because nothing naturally edible in our environment is that tone of blue.

Bile salts from the gallbladder give it the rather unpleasant odor, and do you find your trash can appealing?

I like My own poop. I admire what I have made, and almost view it like a child of some sort.... That is made of poop.

Not everyone thinks it is gross; why do you think they call it tossing salad? (type in scat or salad tossing in your browser)

I am NOT one of these people....poop is made to be gross so we steer clear of it...as was mentioned it is a self preservation thing...it is waste and loaded with pathogens so is looks gross and smells gross to keep us away from it.
