You don't generally send to casting directors without a reason or they will throw your picture away. You submit to Talent Agencies for representation. http://www.sag.org/sagWebApp/application?origin=page1.jsp&event=bea.portal.framework.internal.refresh&pageid=AgentInformation
Make sure you have your parent's permission, you have the training and resume to back you up or they will not consider you.
good luck,
Marianne

The procedure is different in each USA city.
Yes, there is a website that lists casting/contact information for EVERY show taped/filmed in the USA!
If you live in NYC, The Ross Reports lists contact information for Casting Agencies, not all agencies casts Extras.
Contact information is listed in The Ross Reports.
Mail your headshot/resume, to the Soap Operas taped in NYC, if you are in L.A., mail your headshots to the soaps that are taped in L.A. There is an L.A. Ross Reports.
If you want Extra work, include a note, with your headshot that you are available for Extra Work.
You can buy The Ross Reports at The Drama Book Store in Manhattan and large newstands in L.A.
If you want to work as an Extra on the Soaps that are taped in NYC, mail your headshot/resume to: the following. I don't know if the following information for Casting Agents is still current.

by no potential touch a Casting Agent. The skills Agent and Casting Agent paintings mutually. by no potential deliver something to a casting Agent. whilst the casting agent is casting a undertaking he or she will call the Agent related to submissions. The worst component you're able to do is touch a Casting Director your self. they gained't think of of you as a expert. enable the brokers do their activity.

Depends on where you are. Have a look at this page link to see where I get mine and how I contact agents and casting directors. This is the way I got my agents and how I keep in touch. http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/find_a_talent_agent.html

There are no such things for an amateur wannabe. You are going to have to be an experienced, trained actress with ability to get anyone to notice you.
