They Globally go up November 5th. They are completed a few days after that depending on the complexity and what not.

I would expect them to start putting up the Christmas decorations right after halloween. I have been at Disneyland over thanksgiving the last several years and the Christmas stuff has been going on well before that. I noticed on the Disney website the holiday parade and fireworks start November 16th, a Friday, the MK closes at 8:00 all that week until Friday then they will go on holiday hours the next week but I do expect the decorations to be up by then. I would expect them to be installing them after parks closing until they are done right after they take down the halloween decorations.

They go up the day after thanksgiving every year through new years. If your interested in the Haunted Mansion Holiday though, that gets decorated beginning of October. It's a blast!

Your looking forward to decorations well it is definetly the place for christmas Right now Horror Night is a specialty at Universal and October is rocking for Halloween everywhere here in Universal. So maybe in a few weeks the red carpet will be out for Christmas that is after Halloween.

NOVEMBER 9th, because thats when It's A Small World holiday edition is open, so i'm assuming most of the other decorations will be up, if not then guarenteed the start of December, it'll will be christmas fever.

Thanksgiving is when they go up... that around the time shopping malls and stores put up decorations too
