I had this done with my wife when she was preggy with my daughter. and will have it done this month on my second child. It was amazing to see, tons of detail . those that waited too long complain of it being 'squishy' because the layers of fat are too thick. at your weeks it's perfect. My personal experience, for your husband it will FINALLY give him a bond to experience with the baby. For you, you can feel the baby and are intertwined at all times, for the guy - it's hard and the 4d ultrasound is a great expereience for fathers

We had it done and it was completely worth it. It is amazing how much detail you can see. Our baby's face looked exactly the same when he was born... just less squished. :) We got a dvd and pictures of the ultrasound with the cost. In some of the pics our baby was even sucking his thumb, which he still does to this day. We could see him moving around and making gestures. He even made these same gestures when he was a newborn. It really is amazing and worth the price. It's like an early introduction to your little one. If you are getting a dvd you can also copy it and hand them out as christmas presents. You won't regret having it done!

I had one done at 29 weeks. It was definitely worth it. They change so much, he looked like a different baby from the one that I got at 16 weeks, chubby cheeks and all. It is a good time to get one done because you are able to see the progression and the growth to be sure that he/she is growing properly.
As the baby grows another 3 pounds or more between 29 weeks and full-term, I can't imagine him looking the same as he did at this ultrasound. It is so much different than a normal ultrasound, it is in color rather than black, gray and white. Get it done, you won't regret it.

sure, or a duplicate of the ultrasound consequences out of your checklist. lots of the three-D ultrasound places desire to make certain a form of as evidence which you're being considered via a doctor for prenatal care. clarification for it relatively is because of the fact those 3-D/4d ultrasound places are no longer for medical prognosis and that they do no longer desire human beings employing them in that vogue. All you may could do is supply up via your OBs place of work and communicate to the nurse on the table to the two get a duplicate of your ultrasound percentor consequences, or to get a be conscious on valid letterhead pointing out which you're below pre-natal care and the wellness care provider could sign it. I did a form of three-D/4d ultrasounds approximately 2 weeks in the past and extra a image from my 18 week ultrasound. I definately think of the three-D/4d became into worth it! maximum suitable of success to you!

We got ours done when I was about 23 weeks pregnant. It wasn't optional for us. We had to do it on a Chromosome 17 disorder scare. Fortunately it turned out negative. BUT, it was so worth it! If we get pregnant again we'd definately do the 3D. Our baby was born looking exactly like the picture. (Only bigger) All his features where the same as in the 3D. If your anxious to see your new arrival than this is the route to go. Good Luck & Congratulations!

I did it with my last pregnancy. It is awesome!! It is so worth it!
We got a half hour session for $150 and I am so glad we did it. We took our families & we all got to see our daughter together. She opened her eyes, it was so neat. She sucked her thumb and her toes, it was definitly one of the best experiences of my life. You can see them so perfect, making little faces and moving around. Have fun!
I want to add, she did look a little squished. I mean look where they are! But our pics are very clear, and that dvd will last a life time! I can't wait til she's a little older to show her.

Oh, I haven't had it done. A close friend of mine did though and the pictures were pretty amazing. I know it's so hard to wait to see the baby when its born (because it seems like your prego FOREVER). But I'm so glad I didn't have it done because its so amazing to see your baby for the first time after birth. I'm glad I didn't know what I was expecting to see before I gave birth! I liked the surprise.

Just have a regualr ultrasound if possible. If it was medically neccessary insurance does pick it up. The other one is way more than 200 hundred dollars.

I've had friends do it and I won't do it because all the babies look the same... "squished." You don't seen any noticeable features until the baby is born. My daughters looks changed almost every day after she was born. I can wait until this baby is born to see how he/she will look.
