I hope it will be a good place and not the bad. Hopefully we are judged by the entirty of our lives not just a solitary act. Just Sometimes no matter what is tried the will to live just fades away. I believe people that do this act are here to affect other people to help make people guide people along or back to the path of life.

If you mean Heaven or Hell it's irrelevant as neither exist. How they're remembered is what's important...One may/might pity the Bi-Polar woman for being Bi-Polar, on the other hand one may/might choose to condemn her because she stopped her meds resulting in her choice (yes it's still a choice) to commit suicide.

It's how folks are remembered that matters.

Not really a psychology question since it's more theology. The correct answer would be the morgue.

Now as far as the soul goes, pick the belief you feel most comfortable with. Reincarnation, hanging with JC, burning in some lake of fire, empty blackness of nothingness...they are all plausible as they are all unverifiable.

I read all the answers here and I would like to know how people are so sure that we just go poof ! and die and we are no more...I like to think that people who commit suicide go to a happier place.

I'm not exactly sure what happens after death but I do believe it doesn't matter if they committed suicide, got murdered or died by natural causes, the exact same happens to everyone.

I have to believe that they don't go to a bad place . . . I too have known some people who have taken their own lives. For my own piece of mind and sanity, I choose to believe that they are not in a place like "hell" . . .
