Okay, last thursday I was on here and asked about a positive pregnancy test I took earlier that morning. I took another test on Saturday morning, because I just couldnt believe it... it came out postiive as well. I took one Monday morning (dont ask still in shock) it came out positive too, but with a real faint line...
Well I started my period today!!! I'm so confused, I really can't wait to go to the doctor, I have an appointment until the first of November.
Has this happened to anyone??? Could I still be pregnant???
It really disencourged me, my boyfriend and I are really looking forward to a baby...

well... how heavy is the bleeding? the same thing happened to me. i found out i was pregnant on a saturday and the next friday i started bleeding, heavier than my normal period but not crazy heavy (i had a miscarriage at 6 weeks). is there any cramping? is it very "period" like with clots? or just a tiny bit of spotting? if you are cramping at all or are clotting you need to call your doctor and go see them today so they can take blood and find your HCG level then they'll have you come back in 2 days and take it again and if it has dropped you are having a miscarriage and if it has continued to grow you are pregnant. early in your pregnancy there really isn't much to see on an ultrasound.

There are a few reasons and the first is a Kidney infestion can cause a false positive and requires you to take a blood test for a truly positive. I know for a fact that the tests over the counter can be dead wrong. I purchased a test with 2 in the box. I had a friend that I knew was 6 months pregnant and a friend we thought was take the test at the same time. The one that was 6 months along came back neg. and so did the other friends test. Found out that Monday see too was pregnant. The other reason I am sorry to say you may have had a miscarriage. And you would need a blood test to make sure. good luck

Some women bleed a little in the first part of pregnancy, so it could be that.
If the lines on your pregnancy tests seemed to have gotten lighter (you made mention of a faint line on Monday, but not on Thursday or Saturday) then it could have been a chemical pregnancy. That is basically when an egg gets fertilized but does not implant. I had one six months ago....faint line one dfay, fainter line the second day.....negative HPt the third day and my period showed up two days ater, about three days late.
Good luck!! Call your OBGYN and tell them, they may have you come in right away, or at least schedule up a blood test to see where your HCG levels are at.

yes you can still be pregnant if it is a period it is likely that you produced 2 eggs this month and one has been firtalized and the other hasn't because your period is the dead egg coming out. or if it is just light bleeding thenn this could be implantation bleeding which this is where the baby has attached its self to the side of your womb, someone i know had periods for the first 6 month of her pregnany i cant explain that and neither could the docs but it is possible, but any sort of bleeding in pregnancy contact your doc straight away better to be safe than sorry.
dont be disheatend the chances are you are still pregnant good luck to you and you boyfriend and good luck with the baby?? x oh and stay posative if your not preg there is always next month...x

i'm not sure how far along you might be. but the bleeding could be implantation bleeding. when the baby burrows into the utures it may cause some bleeding. usually it's not a heavy as regular period. i would call the doctor and let them know that you are bleeding and you had 3 postive pregnancy tests...if it's a good doctor they will get you in right away. if they don't i would find another doctor. i was cramping at 41/2 weeks pregnant...not even bleeding and my doctor wanted to see me right away. so try calling the doc.

I had the same thing happen to me this weekend. I had a positive blood test done (2) and took a preg test and it was positive too ( I wanted to see it for myself!) that same day I had a little pink on the paper and my levels had droppped in the blood test. I was hoping that it was implantation bleeding but I got my period the next day and the day before I had a positive test. hope this helps, I was only preg for a few weeks. hope you get better news but if your period started like it usually does you may have had a miscarriage. so sorry

Go to the doctor anyway just in case and it will let you know once and for all if you are or if you're not. I had a period for the first 3 months of my pregnancy so its not uncommon but I still went to the doctor to confirm the home test.

I think you need to contact your GP and ask if they have an earlier appointment if they can pull your appointment forward for you as your concerned and that you wish to see him/her sooner as it could have been false positive or possible miscarriage or just that your one of the people whom see a period for so long into their pregnancy good luck hun hope everything goes well for you

Its possible that you either had a very early miscarriage and would not have known you were even preg without the test or you could still be and should go to doc asap to find out.

You should contact your doctor and explain the situation to them.
It is however, not uncommon to have a period in the first month / s of pregnancy.
But for safety sake, give your doc a call!
