autocad batt insulation?

i'm new to autocad 2008 and doing my first drawings for class. can someone give me step-by-step instructions for how to draw batt insulation in my wall section? i googled it and all i can find are files and programs i can't understand as i have only learned basic cad functions thus far. it has to go in 6" walls and look all...curvy. thank you!!

Use a line type called batting.

Try applying a hatch pattern to the area using a batt pattern.
