any war! if you could be in any war, which would it be?

all i want to know is what would people like to experience! you cant say theres no period in time that you wouldnt have liked to witness, so what if its a war?

well if you have never been in combat then your lucky, war isn't as glam as the movies make out seeing your mates head blown off when hes next to you isn't a pretty sight as my dad has said,
vietnam would have been the war i think for me
Ive always had respect for the boys in the U.S army rangers in Vietnam the L.R.Ps, those boys had balls like elephants flying into a L.Z deep in the jungle in a 4 man patrol takes alot of guts and the adrenalin rush those boys must of had must of
been immense as they jumped of the chopper into the jungle as they never knew what to expect, highly dangerous work but very rewarding at the same time, i just wonder whether or not i would of had the balls.

Thats a good one, I think if i was in a war it would have to be pre-gun era so mabe the Holy wars in the cursades time,...and I would like to be a archer, Dont know why but sounds fun.
