She's not a very intelligent person. She is more focused on trying to beat up on Republicans and partisan political games than doing what is right for our country. She is a constant reminder that the best and brightest citizens in our country are not getting into politics.
As a woman, I am embarrassed that the first female Speaker of the House is so incompetent and foolish. Who are these ignorant voters in California who continue to elect this silly, foolish woman to office?

Because the Armenian is a major part of California's political land scape. They are a major immigrant group in Los Angeles. They built up the raisin industry in California. Deukmejian was California's govenor in the late 80's, an Armenian.
Why Should we care??? Well the Armenians are forced to leave their homeland and are spread across the middle east as well as California. The fear of Genocide and a sense of homelessness still exist in them. They feel they need closure. Even though the USSR broke up and Armenian nation now exist, those living on the Turkey side had a different culture. Also Turkey control the black sea and can easily lock Armenia out from sea trade.

That's easy. If they pass the resolution, Turkey will get mad and make things much worse for our military in the middle east. Once that happens, the war would take a turn for the worse. If that happens, Bush will get blamed for leading us into this terrible situation. See how that works? Passing this resolution ultimately would be very bad for President Bush. That is their goal. That fact that our military would get stuck in the middle and we as a country would probably be endangered by the whole this doesn't matter to them. They don't care about the military or us. How's that for motivation?

As I have said in two related posts,
which received Best Answerer by the Asker:
Nancy Pelosi is smart by doing this. She knows that if our relation sours with Turkey that Bush will have no choice but to withdraw our troops out of Iraq.
Additonal info:
If Bush is so concerned about us keeping Turkey as an ally, I think he should do the right thing and withdraw our troops which will mean that Pelosi will probably withdraw her vote.
Which is more important to Bush: His ego or keeping in good relations with Turkey. My answer would be "his ego"

That is the whole thing in a nutshell: Pelosi, Hillary and the rest ARE anti-America.
That's whey we have all those illegals running around (1 in 25 persons and counting!). That is why 9/1/1/ happened.
And Hillary said if elected, she would immediately recall ALL the troops and send ambassadors all over the world proclaiming "cowboy diplomacy has ended".
Hillary and Pelosi should be on trial for treason.

What is it with the psycho-Democrats in Congress and their non-binding resolutions? What is the purpose of such a resolution other than to take time? Her motive would be undermining the war effort in any way she can think of, because she knows that to attack it directly would be political suicide. That represents first-class cowardice to me.

Defeat at any cost. The America public is not going to "get" that democrats in the House of Representatives caused Turkey to stop supporting us and worse start invading positions of the Kurds in Northern Iraq - creating more violence and bloodshed in a country where we are finally starting to have a peaceful impact. No the democrats get away with murder on this and our media lets them - they have to insure we lose or they will lose politically and they know it.

Hell, the holocaust happened over 60 years ago, should the resolution condeming Germany and Austria be revoked since it happened so long ago?
Do you live in California? Do you have any idea how big the Armenian lobby is in this state? Do you know that they have been pushing for this resolution for a very long time?
What about Bush meeting with the Dalai Lama today. Do you know that it is seriously pissing off China? What would happen if China retaliated on the US by dumping their $2 trillion dollars worth of reserves on the market just in time for the Christmas shopping season?

The answer is that it comes down to politics. Considering the timing of the matter I'd say Nancy's politics conflict with the welfare of our troops, and the good of our country.
Leaders are supposed to make the tough choices for the good of the people. It seems clear to me Nancy chose what's good for Nancy in this case...
War regards,
Douglas

Just political BS.
The Democrats are trying to sabotage our relations with Turkey so they can blame the President for another 'failure.'
