I drank Clomid until 8 Oct. I went for a scan last Wed and Friday. I had extreme cramping and pain over the weekend that I drank it. Much to my disappointment, I didn't ovulate. THE EGGS DIDN''T EVEN GROW 1 MM!!!! !!! !!!

So, you might ask, what the hell caused the pain?!?!? I wish I knew!!! The doctor can't even explain it!

With regards to the period cramping, I am dreading mine, because the Estrogen we drink along with the Clomid makes the uterine lining very thick, which makes it much more painful to menstruate.

I mentioned the Estrogen and thick uterine lining. This is what causes the pain. (Not in all cases is it like that though, some ladies are lucky to not have bad pain.)

Oh yeah! My first round of Clomid, I started two days early and the pain was horrible. I normally do not have any cramps and some were really bad to where I had to sit down.

The next month was not as bad, but still fairly painful.

I'm on my 3rd day of clomid. I am having cramps and PMS as well. I have been very irritable. Its good to know I'm not alone, ha ha!

But if it works, its all worth it!!!

Yes, I remember thinking I was having a miscarriage that was how bad they were. If you don't ease up in a few days call your doctor to make sure that things are OK and you are not having a miscarriage. Don't let it go on too long there could be complications.

On clomid, my periods have been lighter and shorter than normal (but then, I had endo in the past, so anything is lighter and shorter!) But I've had BRUTAL chocolate cravings and PMS and sore boobsicles. Yowch.
